About 18 minutes (14.3 miles) from our office
Sterling still carries the feel of the farm town it grew up as, with pick-your-own orchards on its hillsides and a small statue on the Town Common commemorating Mary Sawyer’s lamb, the one said to have inspired “Mary Had a Little Lamb.” Getting to Worcester from here is mostly a highway drive, since I-190 runs right through town. Top Spine Chiropractic is where Worcester’s Shrewsbury Street restaurant row meets downtown, a short hop from Union Station and the I-290 exits.
A weekend at Davis Farmland, the children’s discovery farm in Sterling, can mean lifting a child in and out of a car seat and carrying them from one animal pen to the next. Repeated lifting like that can feed low back pain and leave you with a sore neck by the end of the day. Along with hands-on adjustments, the office offers the Activator Method, in which a spring-loaded handheld instrument delivers a quick, low-force impulse.
Mary Sawyer’s lamb, as the story goes, simply followed her to school. Getting from Sterling to our office takes a little more planning, so call (774) 280-4790 or book online to pick a time, and mention the $97 new patient special when you book.

Why Sterling chooses Top Spine Chiropractic & Wellness
I-190 splits Sterling down the middle, yet from the center of town you pick it up at Route 140, by way of a string of back roads: Route 12 South, then Greenland Rd, Muddy Pond Rd and Dana Hill Rd. That first leg is about three and a half miles. I-190 South covers close to nine more, and then a short stretch of I-290 West brings you to exit 20 for Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, a few blocks from our door. With roughly ten of the 14.3 miles on the interstate, the whole trip from Sterling Center takes about 18 minutes.
A summer paddle on Lake Waushacum can begin with hauling a kayak from the car to the boat ramp at the end of Hall Avenue, next to Sholan Park, and a fall afternoon at Meadowbrook Orchards can mean an hour of reaching into the trees and lugging full bags of apples back to the car. The strain from days like that can surface later, in the low back, a shoulder or the neck. Evin & the team at Top Spine have provided some of the very best care I have ever received. The team is so fun, friendly, and welcoming that it never feels like a typical appointment. You walk in feeling comfortable, recognized, and genuinely cared about.
They have also done an incredible job of helping me understand the why behind my care. I always leave knowing what we are working on, how it connects to how I am feeling, and what comes next. That clarity has made such a difference. I do not feel like I am just showing up for an adjustment. I feel informed, involved, and confident in the plan.
I can feel real changes in my body, and have experienced less stiffness and tension, better mobility, improved posture, more comfort in my day-to-day movement, and a greater awareness of what my body needs. Those changes have added up in a meaningful way.
I am so grateful for this team and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants excellent care from people who make the whole experience feel easy, positive, and personal.
